Today, nitrogen generators are widely used across numerous industries. These units have no special installation requirements beyond a level floor within the facility. However, due to industry-specific needs, the required nitrogen purity varies significantly. PSA nitrogen generators can be customized to produce nitrogen at different purity levels based on customer specifications.


I. Electronics Industry (≥99.9% or 99.99%, or ultra-high-purity nitrogen ≥99.9999% via purification systems)


Nitrogen in electronics is primarily used for product encapsulation, sintering, annealing, reduction, and storage. Key applications include wave soldering, reflow soldering, crystal components, piezoelectric devices, electronic ceramics, electronic copper strips, batteries, and electronic alloy materials. Purity requirements vary by application, typically demanding no less than 99.9%. Some processes require 99.99% purity, while nitrogen purification equipment may achieve purity exceeding 99.9995%.

II. Metallurgy and Metal Processing Industry (≥99.999%)


Used for annealing, sintering protection, nitriding treatment, furnace cleaning, and purging. Applied in metal heat treatment, powder metallurgy, magnetic materials, copper processing, metal wire mesh, galvanized wire, semiconductors, and powder reduction. Nitrogen gas with purity exceeding 99.9% is produced via nitrogen generators, and combined with nitrogen purification equipment to achieve purity exceeding 99.9995%.


III. Food Industry (99.99%)


High-quality nitrogen is produced through sterilization, dust removal, and moisture elimination to meet industry-specific requirements. Primarily used in food packaging and preservation. Nitrogen purity of 99.9% is achieved.

IV. Chemical and New Materials Industries (Typically Requiring Nitrogen Purity ≥98%)


Nitrogen generators in these sectors primarily serve as chemical feed gases, for pipeline purging, displacement, protection, and product transportation. Key applications include chemical processing, spandex, rubber, plastics, tires, polyurethane, biotechnology, and intermediates. Purity must not fall below 98%.


V. Other Application Fields

Nitrogen generators are also employed in coal, petroleum, oil transportation, and other sectors. With technological advancements and societal development, nitrogen applications continue to expand.
