        Pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generators operate based on the principle of pressure swing adsorption, utilizing high-quality carbon molecular sieves as adsorbents. Under specific pressure conditions, nitrogen is extracted from air, and the purified and dried compressed air undergoes pressure adsorption and pressure reduction desorption within the adsorbent chamber.



Due to aerodynamic effects, oxygen diffuses through the microporous structure of the carbon molecular sieve at a rate significantly faster than nitrogen. As a result, oxygen is preferentially adsorbed by the carbon molecular sieve, while nitrogen is enriched in the gas phase, forming the final nitrogen product. The system then reduces pressure to atmospheric levels, allowing the adsorbent to desorb the adsorbed oxygen and other impurities, thereby achieving regeneration. Typically, the system is equipped with two adsorption towers: one for adsorption and nitrogen production, and the other for desorption and regeneration. A PLC program controller regulates the opening and closing of pneumatic valves, enabling the two towers to alternate in a cyclic process to achieve continuous production of high-quality nitrogen.

The pressure adsorption nitrogen generator employs molecular sieve dense packing technology and a compression device, which prevents molecular sieve fragmentation caused by high-speed gas flow impact, thereby enhancing the system's long-term operational reliability. The scientifically optimized process flow and equipment configuration result in a compact equipment structure and aesthetically pleasing design. It has a small footprint and uses high-reliability imported programmable valves with a long service life, meeting the requirements for long-term stable operation. The system has a high degree of automation, utilizing a microcomputer-based automatic program control system, enabling the equipment to operate automatically and adjust nitrogen purity, pressure, and flow rate as needed.



Daily maintenance precautions for pressure adsorption nitrogen generators:



        1. Ensure normal supply of power, air, and temperature conditions, as well as proper startup and shutdown procedures. Particular attention should be paid to maintaining stable power voltage to minimize damage to controllers and solenoid valves caused by power issues.



         2. Monitor the air storage tank pressure at all times and maintain it between 0.7 and 0.75 MPa, ensuring it does not drop below the rated value.



3. Inspect the automatic drain valve daily to prevent blockage and loss of drainage function. If blocked, slightly open the manual valve, close the automatic drain valve, then disassemble and clean the automatic drain valve. When cleaning the automatic drain valve, use soapy water. Do not use corrosive solutions such as gasoline, toluene, or turpentine.



4. Operators should regularly monitor the three pressure gauges on the machine, record any changes in pressure for equipment fault analysis, and continuously observe the flowmeter and nitrogen purity to maintain the purity of the discharged nitrogen.



         5. Weekly inspections should be conducted to ensure the heat exchanger fins of the refrigerated dryer are clean to prevent poor heat dissipation from affecting the dryer's performance and lifespan.



6. Operate and perform routine maintenance in accordance with the operating guidelines. Conduct irregular inspections of the sensitivity of electromagnetic valves/pneumatic valves, the pressure range of pressure regulators, the accuracy of gas analyzers, the tightness of adsorption towers, the exhaust condition of silencers, and the cleanliness of flow meter inner tubes, etc.
